a DIY for wine lovers.

My goal was to do one DIY a month, but surprisingly, July brought three. Maybe I should up the ante? I’m a little late posting but I did this one about a week ago.
Wine Cork Board DIY:
This project is super easy, cute and useful. If you like wine and wall art combined, give it a try (you have to drink a lot of wine first…)
What you’ll need:
-Wine corks
-Hot glue gun
-Picture frame or a shadow box
Step 1: Remove the glass from the picture frame or shadow box. You’ll be gluing the corks right onto the face of the back part of the frame.
Step 2. Arrange the corks the way you want them. I did some horizontal and some vertical, in no particular order.
Step 3: Lift them up and place hot glue underneath each one. Push the cork down to secure.
P.S. doing Step 2 before Step 3 let’s you see what it will look like before you start gluing. That way you won’t run into an issue of a cork not fitting or not having enough to fit the frame.
Step 4. Hang and enjoy!
After Googling other wine cork crafts, I came to the conclusion this was just a starter… look at this one below from Pintrest:
If you didn’t know, I’m a little obsessed with anything in the shape of a heart so I have to do this one next.
And how ’bout this crazy wine cork bath mat from Craftynest:
Have fun kiddos.
